Title: Resident Relations Director
Location: Walnut Creek, California

As the Resident Relations Director, you will be responsible for the customer service side of the community, designed to reinforce the resident and family experience collaborating with other departments to ensure a delightful experience for all. You will help create a culture of service and safety that goes above and beyond responding to basic needs. 

Manage the department budget and expenses while focusing on the achievement of financial and service quality goals.

  • Performs data entry into various database systems
  • Prepares various reports, logs, and schedules 
  • Helps coordinate resident focus groups
  • Inspects community daily for cleanliness and maintenance needs
  • Assists residents and families in the selection and placement of furniture for their new home in the community
  • Plan and coordinate regularly scheduled Customer Service meetings



  • Ensure quality customer services
  • Manage and improve resident and family satisfaction
  • Identify and address resident issues, challenges and opportunities for operational improvements
  • Motivate and lead a high-performance Customer Service team
  • Support the community sales process
  • Work with the sales team to attract and retain residents
  • Execute the move-in and welcome, transfer, and move-out processes


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service, guest relations, social worker, or similar role
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
