Sales Director | Retirement Community

We’re looking for an exceptional, Sales Director for a high-end, retirement community. You must have at least 3-years experience in managing the sales cycle for senior living or hospitality sales.

You will be the Sales Director of a retirement community that is unique and upscale. You will manage incoming leads, referral sources and ultimately schedule tours for the retirement community. Your presentation skills will be vital in providing the value proposition resulting in securing contracts and ultimate move-ins. As a Sales Director, you will also contribute to the development of the Senior Living community’s marketing and advertising programs that will achieve and exceed the budgeted occupancy goals.

Requirements: Sales Director Retirement Community
  • Establish credibility and develop professional relationships with prospective residents and their adult children or family members.
  • Schedule and conduct professional personal sales presentations to prospective residents and their families.
  • Manage the prospect sales process from inquiry, tour, and contract signing to move-in.
  • Identify and establish an active network of community and professional sources to provide resident referrals.
  • Effectively communicates to potential residents and their influencers through the sales process; from securing a commitment to the resident move-in.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the local market trends and competitors to assist in developing and executing effective sales, marketing strategies and lead generating events.
  • Generate continual qualified inquiries, referrals and tours as necessary to exceed budgeted occupancy
  • Maintain a current referral database of qualified contacts; mailing lists and referral information using the database system.
  • Keep up-to-date on city/community events attending all appropriate networking functions
The Ideal Candidate: Sales Director Retirement Community
  • Bachelor degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Major Sale and high-end, luxury real estate and/or relational solution based selling preferred.
  • Time-Share Sales, Banquet Sales, Country Club Director of Sales would also be a great fit.
