Our client is searching for a talented Vice President of Compliance (Assisted Living) to manage all their senior living homes relating to compliance issues with regulatory mandates. This individual will develop and revise the senior living programs, policies and devise best practices to ensure the company’s multi-sites are all in compliance.

You are constantly evaluating the performance of your policies and procedures, and enhancing them when needed. Your role currently might be Vice President of Operations or, the Senior Vice President of Operations within a similar senior living organization.  Most of the skills align and could cross over into this exceptional opportunity to grow with one of the most respected company’s in Senior Living.

Key Responsibilities | Vice President of Compliance
  • Communicate regulatory data to multiple departments, and ensure that information is clear for all to understand.
  • Constantly monitor compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements as it pertains to Assisted Living.
  • Participate on regulatory committees (e.g., CALA, TALA, ALFA) and a variety of other state agencies.
  • Maintain constant knowledge and awareness of relevant regulations including proposed and final laws and rules.
  • Monitor emerging trends regarding Assisted Living regulations to determine potential impacts on our clients senior living homes, and implement changes as necessary.
  • Provide responses to regulatory agencies regarding resident matters, program changes, or situations.
  • Prepare compliance reports to keep the senior living executive team informed of regulatory changes.
  • Update operating policies related to regulatory compliance as necessary and ensure proper implementation of revised policies.
  • Assist with licensing process for new senior living homes, and potential redevelopment of existing homes.
Ideal Candidates | Vice President of Compliance
  • BA in a related field with emphasis in Social Services or Healthcare
  • Minimum 10-years experience in assisted living or related field
  • Analytical and communication skills
  • Have an entrepreneurial drive
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse groups of people
  • Desire to serve the elderly population
