Regional Director of Operations

The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing the clinical operations of a senior living company on a regional level – that is, rather than managing operations for a single community, the Regional Director of Operations oversees several communities across one or more states.

The Regional Director of Operations is a significant role, including the planning, implementing, and monitoring of every aspect of operations of all senior living communities within an assigned region. This may include supporting, mentoring, and coaching directors working at a local community level, ensuring that every community within your territory is furthering the goals and vision of the company.

Regional Director of Operations Job Responsibilities

As the Regional Director of Operations, you’ll develop an operations budget for your region and allocate funds to local communities based on the goals and needs of each. You’ll be responsible for maintaining occupancy goals and achieving revenue goals while operating your region within budget.

You’ll be attending operations and financial planning meetings, playing a key role in the development of operational programs and initiatives to further the company’s mission within its established or desired brand reputation.
