About the Community and the Memory Care Assistant Role:
This is an exciting new position, the Memory Care Assistant Manager. The Memory Care neighborhoods are expanding within this community and they’ll need someone to work with the Memory Care Director, provide support and oversight to the new wing. You will report to the Memory Care Director and will focus on the memory care neighborhood, supervising care staff and leading related programming.
Requirements for the Memory Care Assistant Manager
- Two or more years of experience in dementia care.
- At least one year of supervisory experience in a long-term care or a community-based setting.
- Prefer a degree in creative arts therapy, therapeutic activity, gerontology, social work, or a related field.
