Title: Property Manager

We are looking for an Property Manager that can manage an Independent Senior Living Community for 55 year olds and above. You will be responsible for managing Independent living apartments for active seniors in the Bay Area with charm and a fabulous location along the Peninsula. The Property Manager will be responsible for all marketing, sales and outreach efforts including metrics, database management, educational presentations, promotional events, tours, move-in coordination and retention reviews.
Requirements:
- 4-year college degree essential.
- 4-years of supervisory and administrative experience, inclusive of budgeting and program development.
- At least 3-years of experience in property management or independent living; or equivalent education and experience.
- Criminal record clearance prior to presence in community.
- CA Broker License or Multi-family, Property Management experience preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated successful track record in sales of services or intangibles, preferably in the senior housing industry.
- Demonstrated experience in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.
- Reliable and available transportation, including a valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance.
Skills and Attributes:
- Sensitivity and ability to work with older adults.
- Knowledge of the aging process and implications of aging in a social setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify need, develop, and manage programs and systems simultaneously.
- Must understand health care environment and the medical context for older adults.
- Leadership skills include an ability to supervise and implement the best practices for care, services and financial management.
