Title: Director of Sales , Active Senior Living
Location: San Mateo, CA
The Sales Director is responsible to the Executive Director for directing census development and implementing business strategies in the community to ensure strong customer and referrer responsiveness, appropriate market penetration and a positive company image.
The Director of Sales will develop relationships with all future residents and their families, manage visits/tours for interested inquiries; maintain relationships with future residents through follow up; participate in resident move-ins and move-outs; manage the database management system; use of the sales processes and systems adopted by the organization; participate in the development of special events on-site including events specifically for residents.
Responsibilities for the Director of Sales
- Work with an organized, efficient lead generation and nurturing system to help guide prospects through the sales funnel and generate opportunities for the assisted living community.
- Create and manage a referral database of current and potential referral sources, mailing lists, contact information and referral information.
Ideal Director of Sales
- Self-charger with dynamic personality
- Highly motivated
- Demonstrated ability of success in selling senior communities.
- A four-year degree (preferred) from an accredited institution in business, marketing or a related discipline.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a formal sales and marketing capacity.
- Prior management experience with responsibility
- Multi-family experience is a plus!
