Title: Vice President of Asset Management
Location: Orange County, California
In this position, you will drive the financial performance of a group of senior housing assets grouped across the country dealing with various operations groups building high level relationships.
- Leverage financial, market, and industry data to proactively identify and address opportunities/risks within portfolio
- Develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts to predict performance across multiple operating platforms
- Assist in creating business plans aimed to drive achievement of key operational goals and objectives
- Manage a team to produce portfolio and asset performance trends, including opportunities for repositioning,
development, and dispositions - Manage coordination of post‐acquisition activities and integration of assets into ownership portfolio
- Conduct site visits in order to diagnose challenges and opportunities, then ensures proper follow through
- Provide analysis and oversight on capital improvement projects, unit renovations, marketing initiatives, and
revenue enhancement alternatives, and expense management - Ensure compliance to all agreements
- Assist with asset disposition process
Develop and grow operator relationships
- Work with operators to improve and grow their business
- Work with Senior Housing Acquisitions team and attend industry conferences and events to grow stable REIT
operating partners - Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or Healthcare Financial Services
- 5 to 10 years of experience in real estate investment finance, underwriting and/or operations and financial
management (in the Senior Housing or Healthcare industry preferred) - 3 years of prior experience managing and developing high‐performing teams
- 3 years of prior experience effectively communicating with top executives, internally and externally
- High level of proficiency utilizing spreadsheet programs (including Microsoft Excel) and presentation
programs (including PowerPoint) - Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to travel (up to 50% of the time)
- Ability to make strategic business recommendations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced, dynamic work environment
