About the Director of Human Resources | Assisted Living Jobs Raleigh, North Carolina
Our client, a leading provider of assisted living communities in North Carolina has a brand new role, seeking a Director of Human Resources located in their Corporate Office.
The Director of Human Relations reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. You will be responsible for establishing the Human Resource Department for corporate and multi-site communities. This new position, which has been created as a result of growth by the company.
This position has responsibility for identifying the best method(s) for attracting quality talent to the organisation, managing the pre-screening of candidates and assist in establishing a flow of candidates to be presented to hiring managers for interviews. You will be responsible for the communication of all human resource policies and procedures and help revise the current Team Handbook. You will partake, and be responsible for the administration of all employee benefit plans; Health Plans, 401(k) Plans, and other benefits. You will also conduct site visits to ensure personnel policy compliance for regulatory rules and company policies.

- Bachelor Degree.
- Hardworking, dedicated and hands-on individual with a minimum of 3-5 years of HR Management.
- Experience with more than 1,000 team members with multi-location.
- A strong knowledge of employee policies and procedures.
- Talent acquisition and interviewing skills.
- Employee benefit plans, and regulatory knowledge of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Americans with Disabilities Act, HIPAA, and COBRA.
- Must be comfortable with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial corporate culture.
