Our client, a leading provider of assisted living communities in and around Orange County, CA has a brand new role, seeking a Director of Memory Care to Direct the care staff within the Memory Care setting.

The Director of Memory Care reports directly to the Executive Director. You will be responsible for establishing the Memory Care Department by:

• Hiring, supervising, training and performance managing department staff
• Scheduling and ensuring adequate staffing in accordance with policies, budgets and regulations
• Conduct and oversee the completion of all resident assessments and administering medication
• Act as care manager and resource person for residents and their families
• Ensure all federal, state and local regulations and policies governing resident care are closely monitored and carried out

• LVN or degree in Social Work preferred.
• College degree.
• 2-Years supervisory experience.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• A flexible, energetic people person, capable of managing a multi-disciplinary workforce.
