About The Development Project Manager
We are looking for an exceptional, talented Development Project Manager that will report directly to the Vice President of Development. The Development Project Manager will manage and operate the Development, planning and construction process for new and existing senior assisted living projects Nationwide. The Project Manager will be responsible for all projects relating to Senior Living from conception, due diligence to stabilization. The PM will run all of the components as it relates to the life cycle of a community (property).
Essential Functions of The Development Project Manager
Manage the life cycle of the development process for new projects.
- Due diligence and entitlement process
- Manage Budgets from inception, design coordination, construction overview, and interior fit-out
- Administer the consultant selection, including owners program and design
- Insure contract documents available for competitive bidding
- Administer the construction contract from initiation of the bidding process through completion of project
- Establish initial budgets and schedules for project opportunities
- Manage the performance of the work
- Establish Schedules for each Development Dept.
- Report on project progress
- Maintain a high level of communication (both written & verbal with all individuals involved
- Negotiating skills are key with all stakeholders involved
- This is a corporate office position located in Michigan with travel
Qualifications
- Masters Degree Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Architecture, Real Estate
- A thorough understanding of the building industry is essential
- Proficiency with MS Project
- Fair, balanced leader than mentors teams
